Ukrainian New West Fest brings a full street celebration of Ukrainian culture to New Westminster, spanning music, food, craft, and cultural exhibitions that trace the Ukrainian-Canadian diaspora from the first wave of immigration through to today. Canada and Ukraine share deep ties — Canada was the first Western country to recognize Ukraine's independence in 1991, and today more than 1.3 million Ukrainians call Canada home, the largest Ukrainian diaspora in the world.
Festival Mission
The festival's mission is to inspire, delight, and connect — honouring 130 years of Ukrainian resilience, culture, and community in Canada, from the first pioneers to today's newcomers.

Afterparty with Gordiy Starukh
The festival doesn't end when the main stage closes. Headliner Gordiy Starukh hosts an exclusive afterparty featuring what he describes as an experimental musical surprise that will "make your legs fall off — in the best possible way!" Get afterparty tickets.
