Vancouver’s Most Iconic Waterfront Concert Returns for Summer 2025

Symphony at Sunset returns to Sunset Beach Park for its sixth spectacular season, inviting locals and visitors alike to enjoy a world-class performance by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) – completely free of charge. Presented by the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation and conducted by Music Director Otto Tausk, this 90-minute open-air concert blends classical masterpieces and cinematic favourites in one of the city’s most picturesque locations.

• L’Arlésienne Suite No. 2: Farandole (Bizet)

• Finlandia, Op. 26 (Sibelius)

• Cello Concerto in B minor, I. Allegro (Dvořák)

• Firebird: Berceuse and Finale (Stravinsky)

• Thurlow St (Pacific to Beach): 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Beach Ave (Thurlow to Jervis): Local traffic only 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, fully closed 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Bute St (Pacific to Beach): Closed 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
