Event Overview
Nikkei Matsuri, one of Canada’s largest Japanese festivals, returns this summer for an unforgettable two-day celebrationof Japanese culture, food, music, and traditions. Taking place on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, the festival coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby.
This family-friendly event offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in authentic Japanese cultural experiences, enjoy delicious festival foods, watch captivating performances, and join hands-on activities for all ages.
