Join us for the 36th Annual Festival du Bois, the largest and longest-running Francophone festival in British Columbia. Taking place under the big tents in Mackin Park, Coquitlam, from March 7-9, 2025, this lively festival celebrates the rich French Canadian and Francophone heritage through music, dance, storytelling, traditional cuisine, family-friendly activities, and cultural experiences.
Whether you’re a longtime festival-goer or a first-time visitor, Festival du Bois offers something for everyone!
🎶 Festival Highlights
⭐ Headline Performance – Yves Lambert et Le Grand Orchestre
- Experience Québec folk music icon Yves Lambert and his seven-piece “Grand Orchestra” as he celebrates 50 years in music on Saturday, March 8.
🎵 Live Music & Performances Across Two Stages
Enjoy performances from some of the most talented musicians from Québec, Ontario, BC, and beyond, featuring traditional, contemporary, and global sounds. This year’s lineup includes:
- Collage Trad (BC) – A mix of contemporary fiddling, swing, jazz, and folk
- La Déferlance (QC) – High-energy traditional Québec music
- LeFLOFRANCO (ON) – Multicultural pop-urban beats and French hip-hop
- Kutapira (BC) – Afro-Cuban & Zimbabwean marimba fusion
- Jocelyn Pettit (BC) – Celtic-inspired fiddle, step dancing & vocals
- Alouest (BC) – French Canadian folk with a West Coast twist
- The Sybaritic String Band (BC) – Live contra dance music
