The Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival returns to Vanier Park from June 10 to September 20, 2025, inviting audiences to experience world-class theatre in a stunning waterfront setting. This open-air festival is one of Canada’s most cherished cultural experiences, blending timeless Shakespearean stories with modern stagecraft, all set against a backdrop of ocean, mountains, and Vancouver’s skyline.
Produced by Bard on the Beach since 1990, the festival features professional actors, immersive stage design, and thoughtful adaptations — from classical to contemporary. Enjoy live performances, engaging talkbacks, themed nights, and a vibrant Festival Village throughout the season.
🎭 Showtimes & Performance Dates (2025 Season)
All performances take place from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM, with select matinees from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
