The Big Elf Run returns for its 11th year, bringing hundreds of elves together for Vancouver’s most festive fun run of the holiday season! This family-friendly event transforms Stanley Park into a cheerful holiday playground with music, costumes, prizes, and breathtaking waterfront views. Whether you run, walk, dance, or “jingle” along the route, this is the perfect way to celebrate the season with movement and community spirit.

The 2025 Big Elf Run offers:

• 1K Wee Elf Run (1:00 PM) – perfect for kids and families

• 5K / 10K / 15K Runs (2:00 PM) – scenic loops along Stanley Park trails and seawall

• DJ & Entertainment

• Elf-Toque Costume Item

• Personalized Elf Name Bib

• Wooden Ornament Medal (locally made in BC)

• Elf-ie Station for photos

All routes are mostly flat and stroller/dog friendly (must start in final wave). Suitable for all ages and experience levels.

1K Wee Elf Run: Short, fun loop suitable for children and families
5K Loop: Scenic seawall and forest route
Participants in the 10K and 15K complete multiple 5K loops.

Runners must complete the route within the allotted time (1K in 30 mins, longer distances within 2 hours).

• 2:00 PM – Big Elf Run Starts

Avoid event-day lineups by picking up your kit at Kintec:

Event-day pickup: $3 prepaid / $5 cash onsite.
