Join the fun at the 4th Annual Big Jungle Run, a wild, family-friendly outdoor adventure through the lush trails of Burnaby Lake Park on May 31, 2025. Whether you’re running, jogging, walking, or exploring in costume, this jungle-themed run is a perfect way to get active, connect with nature, and celebrate community.

🦁 What Makes This Run Special?

The Big Jungle Run is more than a race—it’s a playful and inclusive event designed for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Burnaby Lake’s woodchip and gravel trails, the route features minimal inclines and plenty of greenery, making it a scenic and accessible experience.

Costumes are encouraged, and every runner receives fun jungle-themed swag to get into the spirit!

• Personalised bib with a custom “Jungle Name”

• Wooden finisher’s medal

• Jungle animal mask

• Measured & marked scenic trail route

• On-course water station

• Finish line clock (no chip timing)

• Entertainment and prize draws

Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome! (Please start in the final wave. Strollers should have wheels suitable for unpaved trails.)

• 12:00 PM: Check-in Opens

• 12:45 PM: 1km Warm-Up

• 1:00 PM: 1km Start

• 1:40 PM: Awards + Route Closure

• 1:45 PM: 5km & 10km Warm-Up

• 2:00 PM: 5km & 10km Start

• 4:00 PM: Route Closes
