Presented by Latincouver and the Brazilian Community Association of BC, this immersive indoor event brings the spirit of Brazil to the city through live performances, cultural programming, family-friendly activities, and a high-energy evening party experience.
Designed as a multi-zone Carnaval celebration, the event welcomes families, cultural audiences, and nightlife enthusiasts into one venue where programming evolves throughout the day — from daytime cultural showcases to an electrifying Brazilian party atmosphere at night. It is one of the largest Brazilian cultural celebrations in Western Canada and a standout multicultural event in Vancouver’s spring festival calendar.

What to Expect at Brazilian Carnaval 2026
Attendees can expect a full-day celebration of Brazilian culture featuring samba, axé, capoeira, live DJs, cultural performances, food vendors, and interactive experiences for all ages. The event is carefully structured to offer a welcoming daytime environment for families and a more energetic evening experience for adults and music lovers.
From colourful performances and cultural showcases to dance floors and social areas, the venue transforms into a lively Brazilian cultural hub where music, rhythm, and community come together in one place.
Daytime Carnaval: Family & Cultural Experience (12:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
During the daytime, the event focuses on cultural discovery and family-friendly entertainment. This portion is open to all ages and is ideal for families, children, and anyone interested in Brazilian traditions.
The venue will feature multiple programming zones, including a Family & Kids Area with interactive activities such as face painting, games, cultural experiences, and inflatables (additional fees may apply). A Cultural & Music Area will showcase Brazilian DJs, samba, axé, batucada performances, and capoeira demonstrations, along with community cultural booths and live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Brazilian food vendors will also be on site offering traditional dishes, snacks, desserts, and authentic flavours inspired by Brazil’s rich culinary culture.
Evening Carnaval: Party & Split Experience (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Starting at 6:00 PM, the event transitions into two distinct experiences within the same venue.
A dedicated Family Carnaval Zone will continue offering calmer programming suitable for families with children, while the Main Stage & Party Experience shifts toward a high-energy celebration featuring live Brazilian bands, samba and axé artists, DJs, and dance-focused performances.
This evening programming creates an authentic Brazilian party atmosphere designed primarily for adult audiences, while still maintaining inclusive spaces for families.

Food & Beverage
Brazilian food vendors will be available throughout the event offering traditional dishes such as feijoada, snacks, desserts, and authentic Brazilian cuisine. Alcohol service will be available in designated areas and restricted to guests of legal drinking age. Food and drinks are not included in the ticket price and can be purchased on site.
Tickets & Admission
Multiple ticket tiers will be available including individual adult tickets, duo tickets, group passes, and kids passes. Adult tickets grant full-day access to the event.
Children’s activities such as inflatables, games, and face painting may require an additional fee. Ticket quantities are limited, and early ticket purchases are recommended as the event may sell out.
The event is open to all ages from 12:00 PM. After 6:00 PM, families with children will be directed to the designated family-friendly area as the main stage transitions to a higher-energy party environment.

All ages are welcome during daytime hours.
Evening programming is more suitable for adults due to louder music and party atmosphere.
Dress Code
There is no mandatory dress code. Guests are encouraged to wear colourful, festive, or Brazilian-inspired outfits to fully enjoy the Carnaval atmosphere. Costumes are welcome but not required.
