Why Salmon Matters
Salmon are a vital part of BC’s ecosystem. They nourish forests, feed wildlife such as eagles, bears, and orcas, and remain a staple food source for communities. By serving salmon at the festival, the Coho Society of the North Shore raises essential funds to support habitat restoration and stewardship projects that ensure salmon thrive for future generations.
