Event Overview
The ʔəm̓i ce:p xʷiwəl (Come Toward the Fire) Festival returns September 20–21, 2025, for its 4th annual celebration of Indigenous culture, creativity, and community. Presented by the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts and Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), this family-friendly and accessible gathering features free daytime programming, workshops, artisan markets, storytelling, food vendors, and performances by Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island.
The festival culminates on Sunday evening with a ticketed finale concert featuring the legendary powwow drum group Northern Cree and rising star Tia Wood.
