The Dundarave Festival of Lights returns to West Vancouver’s waterfront for the 2025 holiday season, bringing live music, community celebrations, and one of the largest outdoor displays of decorated Christmas trees in coastal British Columbia. Known as “the ultimate Canadian Christmas,” this beloved annual festival is free for everyone and celebrates community spirit, local performers, charitable giving, and the magic of the season.
Full festival information is available on the
Dundarave Festival of Lights official website.
Event Overview
The Dundarave Festival of Lights is a month-long holiday experience that transforms Dundarave Beach into a festive waterfront village filled with decorated trees, live performances, and community gatherings. Featuring concerts, artisan charm, Indigenous songs, and bonfire celebrations, the festival showcases the heart of West Vancouver during the holiday season.
A signature feature of the festival is the Forest of Miracles—a stunning collection of Christmas trees sponsored and decorated by families, community groups, and local businesses. Each tree supports essential local charities including Hollyburn Community Services and the Lookout Society, helping vulnerable children, youth, families, and seniors on the North Shore.

The Forest of Miracles
The Forest of Miracles is one of the most iconic holiday displays on the North Shore. Hundreds of Christmas trees illuminate West Vancouver’s shoreline, each decorated by families, businesses, schools, and community groups.
By sponsoring or decorating a tree, participants help support:
• Hollyburn Community Services
• Lookout Society
These donations directly contribute to life-saving programs for vulnerable community members experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness.
The Forest of Miracles is a celebration of hope, generosity, and community connection—an opportunity to “end homelessness beautifully.”
Visitors can explore the full Forest of Miracles experience through the dedicated online platform linked on the
