Event Overview
Jade Music Fest returns to Vancouver for its fourth annual edition, showcasing and uplifting Chinese-language music and artists across Canada and around the world. The festival was founded to create visible stages and professional pathways for artists who compose and perform in languages tied to their cultural heritage, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Taiwanese, and other dialects spoken throughout the Chinese diaspora.
Taking place across several venues from November 5 to 8, Jade Music Fest blends live performances, industry networking, professional development workshops, showcases, and community-building events. The festival aims to make Vancouver a North American hub for Chinese-language music and to highlight the voices of IBPOC artists within British Columbia’s music ecosystem.
Festival Mission
Jade Music Fest focuses on building bridges between emerging musicians, established artists, industry professionals, and global music audiences. By providing performance stages, international collaboration opportunities, and music industry visibility, the festival strengthens cultural exchange while amplifying underrepresented voices.
