On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, guests are invited to celebrate high above the city with fireworks, extended ski and snowboard hours, live DJs, cultural experiences, scenic light installations, and special food and beverage offerings—all set against breathtaking mountain views.

This milestone celebration brings together winter adventure, family-friendly activities, and an unforgettable midnight countdown, making it one of the top New Year’s Eve events in Vancouver.

Fireworks & Countdown Celebration

Celebrate the arrival of 2026 with two spectacular fireworks shows at the Mountaintop Skating Pond:

• Family Fireworks Show: 7:00 PM

• Midnight Pyro Musical: 12:00 AM

The main countdown celebration features a live DJ from 6:00 PM to midnight, creating an energetic atmosphere for dancing, skating, and welcoming the New Year surrounded by snow-covered peaks.

Grouse Mountain offers a full day and night of winter experiences for all ages:

• Extended Ski & Snowboard Hours: Open until 11:45 PM

• Mountaintop Skating Pond: 10:00 AM – Midnight

• Light Walk: 9:00 AM – Midnight

• Grouse 100 Photo Booth (Peak Chalet): 3:00 PM – Midnight

• First Nations Crafts at híwus Feasthouse: 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• CIBC Fire Pit Lounge: From 6:00 PM onward (complimentary hot chocolate while supplies last)

• Complimentary Snowshoe Tours: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (fully booked)

Guests who secured a spot can enjoy a 45-minute guided snowshoe tour through the Blue Grouse Lake trail system, passing through the enchanting Light Walk and around the híwus Feasthouse before returning to the skating pond.
