    Nikkei Craft Fair 2025 – Japanese-Inspired Holiday Market

    Location: Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, 6688 Southoaks Crescent, Burnaby, BC
    Dates: Saturday & Sunday, November 15–16, 2025
    Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    Early Entry: 9:30 AM for NNMCC members and seniors
    Admission: Adults $5 at the door | Free for NNMCC members, seniors (65+), and youth under 18

    Event Overview

    The Nikkei Craft Fair 2025 returns to the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre for a vibrant weekend of holiday shopping and community celebration. This beloved annual event highlights Japanese-inspired creativity and craftsmanship, featuring more than 80 local artisans and food vendors offering one-of-a-kind handmade goods.

    Visitors can browse an extensive selection of art, fashion, home décor, gifts, and culinary creations while enjoying cultural activities, workshops, and special programs for both adults and children. The Nikkei Craft Fair combines tradition, artistry, and the joy of the holiday season — making it one of Metro Vancouver’s most unique craft market experiences.

    80+ Local Craft & Food Vendors

    Explore an impressive array of handcrafted creations across diverse categories:

    • Japanese-Inspired Items: Traditional crafts, decorations, and textiles

    • Home Goods: Pottery, candles, soaps, toys, and functional art

    • Fashion: Clothing, aprons, hats, scarves, and accessories

    • Jewelry & Accessories: Bags, hair pieces, keychains, and handmade jewelry

    Karuta Workshops

    Sunday, November 16 | 1:00–2:00 PM & 3:00–4:00 PM | 2F Kaede Room
    Learn the traditional Japanese card game through interactive one-hour workshops.

    • Christmas Temari Workshop – Saturday, November 15 (Sold Out)

    • Wreath-Making Workshop – Sunday, November 16 (Sold Out)

    Workshops provide hands-on opportunities to create festive decorations inspired by Japanese design traditions.
