    Celebrate Canada Day 2025 at Granville Island – A Full Day of Music, Culture, and Family Fun

    Celebrate Canada Day 2025 with a day-long lineup of free activities, performances, and cultural experiences across Granville Island. From an early morning ferry ballet on False Creek to family-friendly entertainment, food vendors, artisan markets, and live jazz, O Canada Day! offers something for everyone.


    🇨🇦 Morning Highlights

    • ☕ Coffee Shops Open: 7:30–8:00 AM in the Public Market

    • ⛴ False Creek Ferries Ballet: 8:30 AM | Watch choreographed ferry performances from the Public Market Courtyard or Bridges Dock


    🎉 Main Events & Programming

    Official Canada Day Ceremony

    📍 Chain & Forge Outdoor Space
    🕐 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
    Celebrate with greetings from the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, local leadership, and the Government of Canada. Enjoy the national anthem led by Roan Shankrunk and free Canada Day cake courtesy of Dockside Restaurant.


    🎵 Chain & Forge Block Party (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
