Event Overview

All hands on deck for Port Day 2025, presented by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. Happening at Canada Place on September 27, 2025, this annual family-friendly festival is a celebration of Vancouver’s vibrant maritime community. The event features live music, interactive exhibits, on-water demonstrations, career opportunities, and a brand-new Family Zone for kids of all ages.

Port Day is part of the International Maritime Organization’s World Maritime Day, with this year’s theme: “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity.”

Highlights

• Live Music & Performances (North Point Stage):
  Enjoy performances from Josephine Walker, Wyper & Parker, Big Easy Funk Ensemble, and headliner The Boom Booms.

• Family Zone (New for 2025!):
  Bouncy castles, CN’s Little Obie Train, crawling gym, simulators from BC Ferries and Ocean Wise SeaDome, games, and more.

• Maritime Career Zone (sponsored by Canaan Group):
  Meet over 20+ organizations offering career paths in Canada’s marine sector.

• Waterfront Community Zone (outdoors):
  Explore 20+ exhibitor booths featuring the Canadian Coast Guard, Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue, Jericho Sailing Centre, Ocean Wise, Seaspan, Vancouver Maritime Museum, and more.

• Marine Demonstrations:
  At 2:00 PM, watch the Burrard Inlet come alive with exciting on-water demos.

• Prize Giveaway:
  Enter for a chance to win a 7-day Alaska cruise for two with Holland America Line.
