Event Overview
Shen Yun Performing Arts returns to Vancouver in April 2026 with an all-new production celebrating 5,000 years of traditional Chinese civilization. Through classical Chinese dance, live orchestral music, vivid storytelling, and immersive digital backdrops, Shen Yun presents ancient legends, historical epics, and cultural traditions inspired by China’s rich heritage before communism.
Each performance features approximately 20 short pieces, seamlessly moving across dynasties, regions, and mythical realms. From Tang court elegance to heroic battlefield tales and timeless philosophical themes, the production offers a visually and emotionally powerful theatrical experience.

About Shen Yun
Founded in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts tours globally each year with multiple companies, performing in over 200 cities worldwide. The production aims to revive and share traditional Chinese culture through performing arts.
The show includes artistic depictions of historical and contemporary themes, including spiritual traditions such as Falun Gong, which is referenced within the performance narrative.
