Vancouver’s Most Unique Floating Music Festival Returns to Jericho Beach!

Grab your paddle board, kayak, inflatable boat, or canoe and float your way into summer at Throw a Boat Down – a paddle-powered, on-the-water music festival happening at Jericho Beach on Friday, June 27, 2025. Prefer to stay dry? No problem — spread out on the sand and take in the live music, sunset, and ocean breeze from the beach.

This independently organized waterfront event blends music, nature, and community, all while raising funds for RAVEN (Respecting Aboriginal Values and Environmental Needs) — an Indigenous-led organization dedicated to protecting coastal ecosystems for future generations.

• 🚣‍♀️ Float-in live concert from your own kayak, SUP, canoe, or inflatable

• 🎶 Surprise musical guests from East Van’s funk-groove scene
