Get ready to lace up and hit Canada’s biggest start line! The 41st Annual Vancouver Sun Run returns on Sunday, April 27, 2025, uniting over 40,000 runners, walkers, and cheer squads for one of the most iconic spring events in the country. Whether you're chasing a personal best or enjoying the atmosphere, the Sun Run is for everyone—from elite athletes to first-time runners.
This year’s event celebrates four decades of community spirit, health, and fitness, with a race day experience that promises live entertainment, post-race festivities at BC Place, and that unbeatable Vancouver energy.
🏃 What to Expect
✅ Multiple Race Options:
• 10K Individual Sun Run
• 10K Walking Division
• 10K Team Division
• EVA Air 2.5K Mini Sun Run
• SunRype Youth Team Challenge (2.5K or 10K)
• Virtual Sun Run (run anywhere April 25–27)
🎽 Entry Includes:
• Technical souvenir shirt
• Bib with timing chip (for 10K participants)
• Water stations & live music on course
• Post-run party at BC Place
• Virtual option includes race kit by mail (if registered before March 31)
📍 Sun Run Expo – Race Package Pick-up
📅 Dates:
• Friday, April 25 | 11 AM – 7 PM
• Saturday, April 26 | 9 AM – 4 PM
📍 Location: Vancouver Convention Centre East (999 Canada Place), Hall A
📦 Bib, shirt & timing chip pick-up for individuals. Team packages delivered to team captains.
🔍 Important Info
• Registration closes: Different deadlines for each division – check online.
• No bib = No entry – Race bibs are mandatory for access to the course.
• Gear check available: $5 at the start line; pick up inside BC Place.
• Transit strongly encouraged – SkyTrain and Aquabus offer early service.
• Road closures begin: 5:00 AM in start/finish zones.
• Race time limit: 2.5 hours for the 10K.
