BIG BANG Festival Vancouver 2026 — Adventurous Music for Kids
A full day of playful, creative sound takes over Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre as the BIG BANG Festival returns for Family Day weekend. Designed for young audiences ages 5+, this lively indoor festival invites families to explore music through hands-on activities, pop-up performances, and mini concerts.

What Is the BIG BANG Festival?
Presented by Music on Main and the Roundhouse, BIG BANG is an adventurous music festival for families. Instead of sitting quietly in seats, kids move, create, listen, and interact with music in imaginative ways.
Expect the Roundhouse to feel like a musical playground filled with rhythm, colour, and surprise performances around every corner.

These activities run throughout the festival and are designed for different energy levels, from high-movement fun to relaxed creative time.
$5 Ticketed Music Rooms
Small, immersive performances and workshops are available for just $5 per person:

- Gamelan Music Room
Spots are limited, so advance tickets are recommended.
A limited number of complimentary tickets are available for self-identifying Indigenous peoples by contacting Music on Main directly.
Food & Festival Atmosphere
Food trucks Planted and Mama’s Fish & Chips will be set up outside on the Roundhouse Turntable Plaza, making it easy to grab a bite between activities.
Inside, families can wander freely between rooms, performances, and activity zones at their own pace.
Accessibility & Getting There
The Roundhouse is fully accessible, with elevators, accessible washrooms, and step-free entry.
