Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology

The Simon Fraser University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology (MAE) collects, researches, and exhibits artifacts from around the world with a focus on British Columbia.

The MAE is closely affiliated with the Department of Archaeology at Simon Fraser University. Archaeological collections arising from excavations and other research by faculty, staff, and students are housed in the museum. A large and growing archive of images having to do with archaeology and ethnology is also the basis for many of our virtual exhibits.
