The Luminary Festival 2025 is back to light up Delta with an enchanting end-of-summer celebration! On Saturday, September 6, join your community for a night of dazzling lights, live entertainment, cultural performances, interactive activities, and a magical lantern parade through Sunstone Park.

This free annual event invites guests of all ages to dress up in glowing costumes, craft lanterns, and enjoy a truly magical atmosphere as the park transforms into a sparkling wonderland.

Festival Highlights

✨ Lantern Parade – The festival’s signature moment at 8:30 PM, as families and friends light up the park together.
🎶 Live Entertainment – Featuring a family-friendly set by DJ Rock N’ Beau, vibrant Bhangra performances by Folk Arts Academy, plus LED performers, stiltwalkers, and circus acts.
🎨 Interactive Activities – Lantern making, face painting, mehndi, and fun kids’ games.
🍴 Food Trucks – Indulge in tasty festival eats including:

Parking & Shuttle Service

🚍 Free shuttle buses will run between North Delta Recreation Centre and Sunstone Park, starting at 6:00 PM.
♿ Accessible buses are available for those with wheelchairs, scooters, or mobility needs.
🚗 Limited accessible parking is available nearby on Delsom Crescent. Please note that no general parking is available at Sunstone Park.
