Experience the power, pride, and professionalism of Canada’s maritime forces at Royal Canadian Navy Vancouver Fleet Week 2025, a family-friendly celebration along the North Shore waterfront. Hosted at the Burrard Dry Dock Pierin the vibrant Shipyards District, this 6-day event invites the public to go aboard active-duty naval frigates, meet real sailors, enjoy hands-on displays, and ride in Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RIBs).

This year’s event features not only a Canadian frigate but also an international ship, offering a rare opportunity to explore modern naval vessels docked right in Metro Vancouver.

🛳️ Featured Activities

🚢 Ship Tours

Explore the upper decks of Canadian and international naval frigates. Each tour lasts approximately 1 hour and offers insight into life at sea, ship operations, and Canada's maritime defence.

• Canada Day (July 1): 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Friday, July 4: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Saturday, July 5: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Sunday, July 6: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Note: Tours require stair and ladder climbing, and participants must be in good physical condition. Strollers and large bags are not permitted onboard.

🚤 RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) Rides

Hop on a fast-moving RIB boat and experience what it feels like to zip across the water just like the Navy! Each ride lasts about 15–20 minutes, with safety waivers required onsite.

• Sunday, July 6: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Children must fit properly into available PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices) to participate.

🧑‍✈️ Interactive Displays at Wallace Mews

Meet active-duty sailors and learn about naval careers, technology, and life at sea through a variety of displays and exhibits.

This is a great opportunity for all ages to ask questions, explore equipment, and engage with the Canadian Navy in a meaningful way.

The event is easily accessible via SeaBus from Downtown Vancouver to Lonsdale Quay. Limited parking is available, so public transit is strongly recommended.

• Free tickets are required for all ship tours and RIB rides.

• Tickets are available via Eventbrite.

• One ticket per person (including children) is mandatory.

• Arrive early and allow time for security screening. Bags will be searched.
