The beloved Santa’s Christmas Ships return for the 2025 holiday season, bringing a festive, illuminated boat parade to Port Moody, Deep Cove, Belcarra, Dollarton, and Indian Arm. This long-standing community tradition features brightly decorated boats cruising coastal waters, spreading holiday cheer to thousands of shoreline viewers each year.
The 2025 season includes open-to-public on-shore events, waterfront viewing opportunities, live entertainment, and the only in-person Santa visit of the year. All sailings are weather-dependent.
Season Launch Event – Port Moody (Open to the Public)
Saturday, November 29
Location: Rocky Point Park, Port Moody
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Santa arrives early for photos, and the Christmas Ships are expected around 6:00 PM.
This is the only destination where visitors can meet Santa in person before the parade.
2025 Christmas Ships Schedule
All sailings run approximately 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, unless otherwise noted.
Schedule may change based on weather.
Saturday, November 29 – Port Moody
Rocky Point Park
• Open to the public
• Early start for Santa appearance (5:00–7:00 PM)
• Ships arrive around 6:00 PM
Friday, December 5 – Cates Park, Dollarton, Belcarra Bay
Shoreline viewing points along North Vancouver & Burrard Inlet.
Saturday, December 6 – Deep Cove (Open to the Public)
Deep Cove Christmas Ships Party
• Band performance
• Bonfire
• Excellent viewing from Panorama Park & Deep Cove Village waterfront
Friday, December 12 – Indian Arm (Water Access Only)
Woodlands, Brighton Beach
• For residents and boat-access properties only
• Ships will cruise close to waterfront homes
Saturday, December 13 – Belcarra & Dollarton (Water Access Only)
A coastal cruise for waterfront residents along Burrard Inlet.
Friday, December 19 – To Be Announced
Location will be confirmed closer to the date.
Saturday, December 20 – Bedwell Bay & Farrer Cove (Water Access Only)
Scenic final cruise of the season through Indian Arm.

Tips for Waterfront Residents
• Light up your docks – skippers appreciate it and may come closer for better viewing
• Flash your house lights or make noise – the ships respond with horn blasts
