The Vancouver – Stanley Park Terry Fox Run brings the national fundraising tradition to Ceperley Park behind Second Beach, offering a non-competitive event open to walkers, runners, rollers, and cyclists of all ages. There's no registration fee, but every participant is asked to fundraise or make a personal donation, since the run exists specifically to raise funds for life-saving cancer research rather than simply raise awareness.
Route Options
10 km Seawall Route — 10:00 AM Start
Traces the outer edge of Stanley Park along the Seawall, with views of the North Shore mountains, Lions Gate Bridge, and the Vancouver skyline. View the 10 km route map.
3 km Lost Lagoon Loop — 10:30 AM Start
A shorter loop around the calm waters of Lost Lagoon near the park's entrance, weaving through tall trees — ideal for families. View the 3 km route map.
How to Take Part
Register and Raise Funds
Registering creates a personal fundraising page automatically, allowing participants to donate themselves and invite family and friends to support their fundraising for cancer research. Register here.
Donate Without Attending
Those unable to attend can still support a participant or team directly through a donation.
What to Bring & Accessibility
Don't forget a water bottle. The route is accessible to bicycles, wheelchairs, and dogs on leash.
Family Activities
The event is designed as an inclusive day out for all ages, with kids' activities including face painting and colouring alongside the run itself.
