One of Vancouver’s largest Japanese markets, this exciting two-day event brings together over 60 vendors, cultural performances, workshops, and mouthwatering food to celebrate the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship and heritage.
Whether you're searching for handmade crafts, authentic cuisine, or unique gifts, Japan Market offers something for everyone.

🕛 12:00 PM - Kimono Show
- Fumiko’s Kimono Team presents a stunning kimono dressing demonstration, showcasing the elegance of traditional Japanese attire.
🕜 1:30 PM - Okinawa Taiko
- Enjoy an electrifying Okinawan-style drum performance by Vancouver Okinawa Taiko, a group dedicated to preserving and sharing Eisa drum-dancing.
🕒 3:00 PM - Vancouver Iaido (Samurai Sword Demonstration)
- Watch a mesmerizing live demonstration of Iaido, a 450-year-old Japanese martial art, by Vancouver Eishin Ryu Iaido Club, who contributed to FX’s Shogun (2024) as stunt performers and sword instructors.

🕛 12:00 PM - APPARE Yosakoi Vancouver (Traditional Japanese Dance)
- Be captivated by Yosakoi, a dynamic and energetic Japanese dance performed by APPARE Yosakoi Vancouver, the only Yosakoi team on the West Coast of Canada.
🕜 1:30 PM - Kisyuu Japanese Calligraphy
- Witness a live calligraphy performance by Kisyuu, an internationally renowned calligrapher whose work has been featured in Shogun, Deadpool 2, and brands like Lexus and Prada.
🕒 3:00 PM - Japanese Tea Ceremony
- Experience the peaceful art of Japanese tea-making with Urasenke tea instructor Yasuko Sokyo Takahashi, who will demonstrate the Ryurei-style (tea-making using tables and chairs).

📖 Misaki’s Japanese Workshop (Saturday & Sunday)
Join Misaki Japanese to learn about Japanese culture, travel tips, and calligraphy. Workshops run both days:
