Billed as the largest K-pop pop-up dance party (RPD) in Vancouver, the KPOP & Food Festival transforms Surrey Civic Plaza into a full day of music, food, and culture right in front of Surrey Central Station. Presented by Seoul Society, the free, all-ages festival brings together K-pop DJs, live performances, a market of Korean and Asian small businesses, and cultural games for an end-of-summer celebration open to longtime fans and newcomers alike.
What to Expect
K-Pop DJs & Dance Performances
Live K-pop DJs and dance performances run all day on the main stage — come to dance or just soak in the energy.
Food Trucks
10 food trucks serve up Korean and Asian street eats, including dumplings and tteokbokki.
Market
More than 30 local vendors sell K-beauty products, art, K-pop merch, and handmade goods.
Korean Cultural Games
Games for all ages include ttakji (딱지, as seen in Squid Game) and other cultural activities throughout the day.

Seoul Society hosts day and night events across Vancouver celebrating Korean culture and uplifting the local Korean and Asian community, with a mission to support businesses and artists from these backgrounds, build meaningful connections, and foster growth beyond profit.

Opportunities are open to those 16 and up to volunteer or apply to perform, with additional opportunities to become a vendor or sponsor the festival.
Getting There
Surrey Civic Plaza is located in Downtown Surrey. Taking the SkyTrain is highly recommended — the plaza is just a 2-minute walk from Surrey Central Station. With thousands of attendees expected, parking will be limited; drivers should consider paid parking at the Safeway Surrey Central. Many major bus routes also provide access to the area.
