Festival Purpose & Values
Founded in 2015, the Vines Art Festival uplifts artists working at the intersections of art, land, and social justice. This year’s theme invites artists to explore what stories need to be rooted, remembered, or released, and how our relationship to the land informs our collective futures.
The festival is held on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples, with a commitment to honouring Indigenous knowledge and ongoing presence.
