Event Overview

Deckchair Cinema returns to Cates Deck in front of The Polygon Gallery for its 4th season, transforming summer nights into starlit cinematic experiences. Every Thursday from July 3 to August 28, 2025, film lovers are invited to enjoy outdoor sci-fi screenings, live music, entertainment, and community vibes — all with stunning views of Burrard Inlet.

This year’s theme is "Summer of Sci-Fi," celebrating the bold, weird, and wonderful world of science fiction cinema — from cult classics to Hollywood blockbusters. Presented by BMO Financial Group, each evening includes popcorn and access to the gallery’s Star Witnesses exhibition with your donation.
