Event Overview
Join the VanDusen 50-Year Celebration on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the VanDusen Botanical Garden, located at 5251 Oak Street, Vancouver. This milestone event honours five decades of beauty, learning, and community at one of Vancouver’s most beloved gardens. Guests will enjoy live performances, guided historical tours, educational workshops, family-friendly activities, food vendors, and interactive themed zones designed to inspire curiosity and connection with nature.

Activities & Themed Zones
🌿 Biodiversity Zone
Learn about climate change, local ecosystems, and Indigenous perspectives on biodiversity through interactive exhibits. Vancouver Master Gardeners will also be available for expert advice.
🎨 Art Zone
Create eco-friendly crafts, participate in art workshops, view plein air painting demonstrations, and relax in the Library Chill-Out Station.
🌱 Learning Garden Zone
Discover how plants create dyes, taste local honey, and learn about bees and pollination in the Garden’s newest interactive zone.
