Bike the Night is a 10 km evening ride along the Vancouver Seawall, promoting bike light use for safe night cycling while raising funds for HUB Cycling. Hundreds of brightly lit bikes create a vibrant, glowing procession as riders wind along the Seawall and across Burrard Bridge before returning to David Lam Park. Ride tickets are now sold out, but the free pre-ride party at David Lam Park remains open to everyone.
Event Schedule
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM — Pre-ride party at David Lam Park, with a DJ, games from Red Fox Society, Lower Mainland Cyclocross, and CRT Cruiser, a bike decorating station with MakeMobile, free bike tune-ups from MEC and Our Community Bikes, Project 529 bike registration, and games to win bike lights
- 6:30 PM — First Wave departs David Lam Park (suited to younger riders)
- 7:20 PM — Sunset
- 7:45 PM — Second Wave departs David Lam Park
- 9:00 PM — Event ends

Available for purchase from Dos Amigos, Vancochen, Coffee Bike, and The Great Canadian Cotton Candy.
Get Involved
Since tickets are sold out, those wanting to be part of the event can sign up to volunteer or simply join the free pre-ride party at David Lam Park.
Registration Requirement
All Bike the Night participants must agree to a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement as part of registration.
