Event Overview

For the first time ever, Pokémon GO City Safari is coming to Vancouver! From historic Gastown to scenic Stanley Park, this two-day event transforms the entire city into a living playground for Trainers. Catch event-exclusive Pokémon, complete research tasks, and make new friends while exploring iconic landmarks.

Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this immersive citywide adventure blends gaming, exploration, and culture into an unforgettable experience.

Event Features

• Special Research: Assist Professor Willow and Eevee (wearing an explorer hat) in learning about Pokémon across Vancouver.

• Event-Themed Wild Pokémon: Encounter special Pokémon like Mudbray, Zubat, Phanpy, Smoliv, and more—with a chance of finding Shiny versions.

• Egg Hatches: 7 km eggs may include Sigilyph, Klink, Goomy, and Mudbray.

• GO Stamp Rally: Collect stamps at PokéStops across the city for exclusive Eevee encounters (including Shiny chances).

• Ticket Add-ons: Enhance your experience with “Raid Lover,” “Egg-thusiast,” and “Extra Day” upgrades.

Know Before You GO! – Key Locations

Trainers can begin their adventure anywhere in Vancouver, but five Eevee Explorer Zones will feature themed PokéStops and Gyms where you can collect in-game stamps:

• Gastown

• Downtown Vancouver

• Granville Island

• Stanley Park & West End

• Coal Harbour

Additionally, don’t miss the Trainer Lounge at Jack Poole Plaza (1055 Canada Pl), open both days for relaxing, trading, battling, giveaways, and connecting with other Trainers (while supplies last, weather permitting).

Ticket Information

🎟 General Admission: $14 CAD per day (plus tax/fees).
🎟 Add-ons available:

• Raid Lover ($9): Up to 12 Raid Passes/day, XP & Candy bonuses.

• Egg-thusiast ($9): ½ hatch distance, bonus Stardust, XP & Candy.

• Extra Day ($11): Play on both days with Shiny boosts and extra trades.

Tickets are non-refundable, limited, and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Child accounts must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a purchased ticket.

Community & Safety

Local Pokémon GO groups across Metro Vancouver (including Burnaby and Richmond) will host community meetups during the event. The event will run rain or shine, so dress for the weather and stay aware of your surroundings.
