Event Overview
The Lumière Festival returns to Vancouver, illuminating the city with light, art, and community spirit under the 2025 theme: Unity.
From November 13 to 16, the West End, Downtown Vancouver, and Gastown will be transformed by glowing installations and immersive art displays that inspire wonder and togetherness.
This free, family-friendly outdoor festival invites you to explore the city at your own pace. Each neighborhood features unique artworks created by local and international artists, celebrating creativity and cultural connection during the darker days of late fall.
There is no opening ceremony this year — instead, the festival focuses entirely on delivering meaningful, visually captivating light experiences throughout the city.
