Lights at Lafarge 2025 in Coquitlam
Lights at Lafarge, produced by the City of Coquitlam, returns as Metro Vancouver’s largest free outdoor winter lights display, illuminating Lafarge Lake with a spectacular 1.2 km walking loop of vibrant colours, themed installations, and re-imagined displays. The season runs until February 16, 2026, offering months of festive outdoor enjoyment for visitors of all ages.

Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Lafarge Lake, Town Centre Park, Coquitlam
Admission: Free
Celebrate the start of the winter lights season with an energetic and family-friendly outdoor event. Opening night includes live music, holiday performances, food trucks, and a special fire-and-light finale.
Opening Night Schedule
• 5:00 PM – The Dimes
• 5:50 PM – Holiday Carols by the Coastal Sound Children’s Choir
• 6:40 PM – Dani Black
• 7:20 PM – Opening Ceremonies
• 7:30–8:00 PM – Fire and Light Performance
The kick-off night sets the tone for the season with glowing trails, lively entertainment, and a festive community atmosphere.
About the Display
Lights at Lafarge features:

Food Trucks
Dates: Opening Night (Nov. 28) and selected dates throughout the season
Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of food and beverage options, with trucks located on both sides of the lake. Expect warm drinks, comfort food, desserts, plant-based meals, and local favourites.
