Celebrate summer at the Nikkei Garden Market 2026, a free community event at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Set within the beautiful Nikkei Garden and indoor spaces, this family-friendly event features artisan vendors, Japanese food, cultural workshops, live activities, and seasonal traditions inspired by Japan.

Visitors can browse handcrafted goods, discover local plant vendors, enjoy authentic Japanese flavours, and take part in the colourful Tanabata (Star Festival) celebration by writing wishes and hanging them on traditional decorations. Guests are also encouraged to wear a Yukata or summer kimono to experience the festive atmosphere.
