Festivibe is North Vancouver's multicultural family festival, built around a simple idea: every culture deserves a stage. Now in its third year, the free festival has drawn thousands of families to The Shipyards for one of Metro Vancouver's most culturally rich days, and 2026 is going bigger than ever, with the main stage running all day alongside a full artisan market, international food vendors, and a dedicated Kids Village.
The Experience
The main stage runs from opening until the final performance, featuring cultural performances spanning continents — dance, music, and movement rooted in living traditions from communities across the North Shore and Metro Vancouver. Between sets, the historic Pipe Shop Venue hosts a curated artisan and wellness market (12:00 PM–7:00 PM), while families can explore the Kids Village at Shipyards Commons (also 12:00 PM–7:00 PM), an interactive space for children to explore creativity, culture, music, and movement while parents enjoy the main festival nearby.
Register for Giveaways
Registering early enters guests for a chance to win prizes from participating sponsors, including a BonVoyage Travel Credit, a North Shore Experience Prize Package, and a one-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton North Vancouver. New prizes are announced weekly leading up to the event.
Food Experiences
A curated lineup of food vendors spans cultures and cuisines: Salmon n' Bannock (award-winning Indigenous West Coast cuisine), Che Bono (Italian porchetta sandwiches), Mitradicion Mexican Cuisine, Tatchan Noodle (Japanese noodles), MATCHACHA Japanese Desserts, The Cookie Studio by Afghan Bites, The Good Chocolatier, Gary's Kettle Corn, and Le Parfait (Lebanese ice cream, crepes, and more).
Artisan Market (12:00 PM–7:00 PM)
Inside the historic Pipe Shop, browse local artisans and specialty makers including IndiArts Collective, Blue Sky Native Artisan, Studio Dawn Co., Clani Clay, Awayu, With Love & Beads by Tammy-Lee, Wild West Collections, Toto Accessories, and WC Succulents & Cactus, alongside Koja Café and a rotating mix of cultural experiences.
