Chilliwack Mural Festival 2026

Now in its seventh year, the Chilliwack Mural Festival turns historic downtown Chilliwack into a live outdoor gallery, where large-scale murals go up in real time from emerging and established artists based in Canada and around the world. The three-day festival blends public art with music and community, held on the unceded territory of the Stó:lō people.

Muralists actually begin work throughout July and August, so visitors heading downtown during the festival can catch murals at every stage — some freshly finished, others still in progress — alongside info on where the next piece will appear.

Street Party

Guided Mural Tours

Tours run all three days, August 14 through 16, offering a guided way to see the murals up close and hear the stories behind them.
