Now in its 3rd year, The Big Dirty Mud Wrestling Showdown returns to Roots and Wings Distillery for an afternoon of muddy mayhem and bragging rights. Whether you're settling a score with a sibling, challenging your best friend, or calling out your spouse, the mud pit is open to anyone willing to sign up with their own opponent — no wrestling experience required, just a sense of humour and a willingness to get filthy.
How to Register
Registration works a little differently here: you must sign up with the person you want to wrestle. Organizers won't assign opponents or match you with a stranger — pick your own challenger, sign up together, and purchase tickets as a pair to lock in your spot. Spots are limited and fill quickly each year.
- Cost: $20 per participant
- Includes a souvenir to remember the occasion
- Wrestlers must arrive by 2:30 PM to check in, sign the waiver, gear up, and warm up before entering the pit

Cold Rinse Station
A cold rinse station will be on-site for wrestlers to wash off after their match. Bringing a towel and a change of clothes is recommended for the ride home.
Live Music
Once the mud settles, the party continues with live music from the Michael Andrew Blues Band, running 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Not wrestling? Admission to watch, cheer, and laugh along is completely free.
