Vancouver Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027

Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) unveils its designer lineup for the Spring/Summer 2027 season, with five days of runway presentations from October 14 to 18, 2026. For more than 24 years, VFW has championed Canadian talent while celebrating the global diversity of the fashion industry. Its distinctly multicultural approach gives established and emerging designers an international platform to showcase their creativity, strengthen their brand presence, and expand their media reach.

Wednesday, October 14: Opening Night

Doors open 5:30 PM
Opening night begins with the opening ceremony and awards, followed by Richard Wei and the Brunette the Label showcase. Citizen Watch Canada, an official sponsor of the SS27 season, is featured alongside Brunette the Label. The partnership celebrates the connection between timepieces, fashion, and personal expression, and Citizen is known for precision craftsmanship and Eco-Drive technology, which powers watches using any light.

International and Canadian Talent

The SS27 season brings together designers from Canada and around the world, with experimental design, refined ready-to-wear, emerging talent, and globally influenced collections across the five days.

International Designers

Three designers from France bring individual perspectives to the runway: Mylam Jean-Louis of MJL, Daphne Chirot of XOA, and Naya El Haddab of Naya Ahdab.

Canadian Designers

Canadian talent plays a central role again this season, with designers including Chloe Duncan of CLDMNTY, Jumper Zhang, Richard Wei, Shima Asri, Somaya Ahmadi of Somaya Fashion Studio, Pattern Nation x Claire Upcycled, Galactic Gala, and House of Pretty.
