Vancouver World Naked Bike Ride 2026
Join Vancouver's Annual World Naked Bike Ride for Body Positivity, Cycling & Environmental Awareness
Event Overview
Take part in the Vancouver World Naked Bike Ride 2026, an annual community cycling event promoting body positivity, cycling, environmental awareness, and sustainable transportation. Held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, participants will gather at Sunset Beach for optional body painting before embarking on the city's famous "bare-as-you-dare" bicycle ride through Vancouver.
Vancouver is recognized as the birthplace of the World Naked Bike Ride, and each year hundreds of cyclists participate in this unique event. Riders choose their own level of dress—from fully clothed to creatively body painted or nude—following the event's "bare as you dare" philosophy.
Following the ride, participants and supporters are invited to attend a community picnic hosted by Naked Iconoclasts Fighting The Yoke (NIFTY). The organization advocates for body acceptance, clothing-optional rights, and greater public awareness surrounding body freedom and equality.
Participation is open to adults who wish to support the event's message of body positivity, active transportation, and environmental awareness.
