Get ready for an epic celebration at the Lapu-Lapu Day Block Party 2025, Vancouver’s most vibrant springtime cultural street party! Taking place on Saturday, April 26, this all-day event is free to attend (entry by donation) and packed with live music, food, dance, and Filipino pride.
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s event is the Main Stage concert at John Oliver Secondary School Field, featuring APL.DE.AP and J. Rey Soul of the Black Eyed Peas! Don’t miss this unforgettable show as they take the stage alongside other talented performers, sharing high-energy beats and cultural pride with the South Vancouver community.

Lapu-Lapu Day commemorates the heroism of Lapu-Lapu, the first Filipino hero to resist colonization in the 1500s. The day honours Filipino heritage, community strength, and cultural pride, and this Vancouver-based celebration brings together people of all backgrounds for a day of unity and joy.
