Celebrate the Night 2025 returns to Memorial Peace Park for a magical evening of lights, music, and family fun. This free community event transforms downtown Maple Ridge into a vibrant autumn celebration featuring dazzling light installations, lanterns, crafts, games, live performances, and a spectacular fireworks finale.
Guests can look forward to live entertainment, food trucks, costume contests, and interactive activities for all ages. From circus performances to a crowd-pleasing carousel, the event brings families together for one of Maple Ridge’s most beloved fall traditions.
Celebrate the Night offers something for everyone — from high-energy performances to sensory-friendly access, ensuring that all community members can enjoy the festivities comfortably and inclusively.

Sensory-Friendly Access Time
The City of Maple Ridge invites individuals with disabilities and their families to enjoy early access to the event from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. This special period provides a calmer atmosphere with reduced noise, minimal lineups, and early access to activities such as the carousel, face painting, balloon twisting, West Coast Circus performances, and more.
A Sensory Room will also be available at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre’s Alder Room, featuring dimmed lighting, calm music, and limited capacity to offer a comfortable environment for attendees seeking a break from the excitement.

Fireworks Finale
The evening concludes with a captivating fireworks display beginning at 8:00 PM, launched from the City Hall Tower. The elevated position provides excellent visibility across Memorial Peace Park and surrounding areas.
For safety, the Maple Ridge Fire Department will supervise a designated safety zone around the Civic Centre. Please note that personal fireworks are prohibited without a special events permit.
Costume Contest
Dress in your most creative and spooky costume for a chance to win $450 in prizes for first place and additional runner-up prizes.
