CityFest 2025 in North Vancouver returns for another high-energy day of music, movement, and youth expression at The Shipyards. As the largest youth-led festival in Metro Vancouver, CityFest transforms the waterfront into a vibrant celebration of creativity, featuring live music, action sports, food trucks, and youth-run activities.

This free community event is a flagship Youth Week experience that continues to grow each year—and it’s all organized by youth, for youth.

🛹 The Story of CityFest

CityFest started in 2002 with a small BBQ and skate demo to celebrate the opening of Centennial Skate Park. Since then, it’s evolved into a full-day festival celebrating youth culture and leadership on the North Shore—entirely driven by youth volunteers.
