Cruise the Shore for Charity returns for its annual weekend celebrating rare, unique, custom, hot rod, and collector vehicles across the North Shore, with all proceeds this year benefiting the Kay Meek Arts Society. The event is entirely volunteer-led and was recently named Best Community Benefit Event – Vancouver at the 2026 Canadian Business Awards, recognizing its focus on charity and community inclusion.

Saturday, August 22 — Car Cruise, 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Owners of unique, rare, hot rod, custom, classic, and exotic cars set out on a roughly two-hour cruise across the North Shore, departing from Capilano University. The route runs east around the Dollarton Loop, along Highway #1 to the Cypress Mountain exit, back down and east to Exit #14, north up Capilano Road, right on Montroyal, across the highway to 23rd, down Chesterfield to the Keith Road roundabout, and back to Capilano University via Keith Road.
Sunday, August 23 — "Show & Shine" Car Show, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday's cruise cars return for a public show-and-shine display in a family-friendly atmosphere at Park Royal, West Vancouver. The day includes entertainment, merchant promotions, and a silent auction.
Sunday, August 23 — 50/50 Charity Raffle, 4:00 PM Draw
The weekend wraps with the 50/50 charity raffle draw at 4:00 PM, with proceeds going to the Kay Meek Arts Society.
Supporting Kay Meek Arts Society
This year's event benefits the Kay Meek Arts Society, supporting its work presenting professional performing artists, facilitating youth arts education, and maintaining an accessible, high-standard venue for North Shore residents and visitors.
