The event runs alongside a fundraising campaign supporting Access Pro Bono's ongoing work, with a $135,000 fundraising goal for the year. Lawyers and law firms across BC take part both by volunteering their time and by fundraising individually or as teams, with current totals and top fundraisers tracked on the event donation page.
The Access Pro Bono Cup
First awarded in 2024, the Access Pro Bono Cup goes annually to the law firm making the greatest overall contribution to Pro Bono Going Public, based on combined funds raised and volunteer lawyer hours donated. Norton Rose Fulbright successfully defended their title in 2025, raising over $13,000 in donations and contributing more than $15,000 in donated legal services.
