🐣 A Splash of Spring Fun Awaits!

Celebrate the start of the salmon life cycle at Spring Salmon Eggs-travaganza, a 3-day educational and interactive event at the Fraser River Discovery Centre. As spring marks the beginning of a new journey for salmon hatching from their eggs, families are invited to dive into the wonders of nature through hands-on science, stories, and salmon-themed games.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🔬 Water Testing Station
Conduct a real water quality test in the Fraser River to discover how clean water impacts young salmon survival.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📚 Storytime + Redd Building Game
Listen to a salmon-themed story, then build your own "redd" (a salmon egg nest) and test its strength against flowing water!

🧠 Learn about the life challenges salmon face from egg to ocean.
