Experience one of British Columbia’s largest and most beloved family-oriented celebrations as the Hyack Multicultural Parade & Festival in the Park 2026 returns to New Westminster. Featuring more than 100 parade entries from across Metro Vancouver and beyond, this vibrant annual event showcases colourful floats, marching bands, multicultural performances, mascots, dancers, community groups, and live entertainment.
The Hyack Multicultural Parade is a long-running Lower Mainland tradition that brings together cultures, creativity, and community spirit in the heart of Downtown New Westminster.

The parade travels through Downtown New Westminster toward Queens Park and Tipperary Park.
A designated Quiet Zone will also be available along part of the route for attendees sensitive to loud sounds and noise stimulation.
