Event Overview

Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day 2026 in West Vancouver with an evening of cultural sharing, music, storytelling, art, and community. Held on the traditional unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Nation), this family-friendly gathering honours the rich cultures, traditions, languages, and contributions of First Nations peoples.

Visitors of all ages are invited to come together for a meaningful community celebration featuring Indigenous teachings, performances, and cultural experiences in a beautiful waterfront setting.
