Port Moody's Car-Free Day returns to St. Johns Street this August, turning a stretch of downtown into a pedestrian-only celebration for the afternoon. Expect a lineup of local vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities spread across the closed street, with food from area businesses keeping the crowd fed throughout.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to leave the car at home and walk, bike, or take public transit to the event instead. As in past years, the City is working alongside Port Moody Police and a traffic management company to keep the street celebration safe for everyone attending.
