Vancouver’s biggest celebration of Latin American culture, Carnaval del Sol, is returning this July with an array of vibrant activities and events. This year's theme, "Year of Harmony," promises to create a festive atmosphere that showcases the rich diversity and heritage of Latin America. The festival will feature workshops, films, live music, dance performances, delicious cuisines, and much more.

Carnaval del Sol – Opening Night Party

Cost:
Tickets are currently on sale for $25 (early bird), $30 (regular), and $37.17 at the door.

Carnaval del Sol – Festival Weekend

Cost:
General admission is $20 for one day. Children under 12 and seniors above 65 enter for free. Discounted multi-ticket packs are also available.

Mucho Burrito Main Stage:
Features local performers showcasing various genres and styles of music, bringing the Latin community spirit to Vancouver.
Travel Plaza:
The second-largest plaza at the event, featuring music, activities, and theatre shows.
Beer Plaza:
A place to dance, relax, and enjoy a crisp, cold drink with food, drinks, and live music all in one location.
VIP Plaza:
Exclusive access with a VIP pass, offering shaded seating, free sangria samples, a full view of the stage, exclusive bathrooms, and more.
Cocktail Plaza:
Relax surrounded by greenery and vibrant colors while sipping handcrafted cocktails made with real fruit juices and premium tequila.
Indigenous Plaza:
Celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous communities with traditional performances, educational workshops, storytelling sessions, crafts, and discussions highlighting Indigenous history and artistry.
Chiquitzin Kids Plaza:
Activities for kids including drum workshops, face painting, games, and more.
Experience Plaza:
Engage with food exhibits, comedy shows, captivating performances, and hands-on workshops.
Pet Plaza:
An ultimate playground for pets with interactive play areas, pet-centric events, and a holistic approach to pet wellness.
Seniors Plaza:
Dedicated to seniors with fitness routines, creative workshops, learning sessions, and more.
Artisans Plaza:
Local vendors showcasing a variety of art and crafts representing Latin American cultural heritage.
Food Plaza:
Over 20 food trucks and carts serving delicious dishes from Latin American countries. Vendors include Mucho Burrito, La Taqueria Pinche Taco Shop, Union Latinos Food, Delicias Colombianas, Boteco Brasil Food Services, Saborcito de Cecilia, Abuela Pupuseria, Salsadog Latinamerican Food, Viva Chile, Morgan’s Harbour, Paella Guys, and many more.
